29 January 2026

On January 29, the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry summarised its work for 2025.

The staff meeting, which included remote participation from regional branches and representative offices in Baranovichi, Pinsk, Bereza, Luninets, and Mogilev, was opened by Valery Labun, the Branch's General Director.

In his speech, he expressed gratitude to all branch employees for their daily, conscientious and productive work and presented in detail the results of the reporting period, noting the steady positive trend across all areas of the company's operations. Despite ongoing challenges, steadily increasing demands on each employee, and turbulent global markets, the company managed to close the year with strong results. Nevertheless, the Director noted, it is necessary to learn from these lessons, take into account all the difficulties of the past year, expand the client base, and strive to be the best in their field.

Elena Malinovskaya, Deputy Chair of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who attended this year's event, gave a positive assessment of the branch's work. She also thanked those present for their successful work and outlined the current objectives and strategic plans for the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2026. Particular attention will be paid to working with new markets, strengthening efforts to effectively assist businesses in resolving emerging issues and promoting exports, identifying new and more effective tools for promoting services, especially competitive ones, improving the company's image, optimising business activities, and enhancing service quality.

Also during the meeting, Marina Bertosh, Head of the Department's Financial and Economic Service, presented a report on the financial results of the work.

In conclusion, a report on the work of the enterprise’s trade union committee was heard and a new version of the Collective Agreement was adopted.
