The northern marker of the "first region" on the map of the People's Republic of China

On January 19-23, 2026, the Brest branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a visit headed by A.L. Shchuplenkov, Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and Food of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, to the City of Hailar (Inner Mongolia, PRC).

Members of the Belarusian delegation visited several manufacturing plants and discussed direct supplies of agricultural machinery and spare parts.

The visit resulted in the signing of bilateral documents:
- A Memorandum of Cooperation (Committee on Agriculture and Food of the Brest Regional Executive Committee);
- A Protocol of Intent (RMUPTE “Brestoblagroservis”).
