Meeting with the leadership of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Russia

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting with the leadership of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Russia (CCBLR).    The meeting on the Belarusian side was attended by the Chairman of the BelCCI, Mikhael Miatlikov, General Director of the Minsk Branch of the BelCCI, Sergei Nabeshko, Chairman of the Union of Builders, Anatoly Nichkasov, Head of the Department of Foreign Economic Activity of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, Aleksandr Bashlii. The delegation of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Russia was headed by the Chamber Director General, Oleg Prozorov, and included the President of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Belgium, Chairman of the Board of ASTROS, Stefan Van Doorslaer, heads of the Chamber member organizations, partner orgnizations and the Eurasian Economic Commission representatives.

The CCBLR brings together Belgian and Luxembourg companies operating in Russia, as well as Russian enterprises with interests in Belgium and Luxembourg. The purpose of the Chamber delegation's visit to Minsk is to explore the possibilities of developing mutually beneficial partnership with Belarusian business and to establish contacts for further work.

The meeting focused on the prospects of intensification and deepening of trade and economic cooperation between entrepreneurs from Russia and Belarus with partners in Europe, the possibilities of interaction between the BelCCI and the CCBLR, aimed at attracting the business community to the implementation of mutually beneficial projects and identifying opportunities for cooperation in various sectors, including industry, energy, agriculture, tourism and medicine.
