Awarding of the enterprises of Grodno Region – laureates of the "Best exporter of 2020" republican contest

Grodno hosted an award ceremony for winning regional enterprises of the "Best Exporter 2020" republican contest. Three enterprises of Grodno Region became the contest laureates:

Grodno Meat Processing Plant OJSC – the winner in the nomination "Meat Industry";

Primemilk, LLC – a diploma holder in the nomination "Food Industry";

BelBurStroy, LLC – a diploma holder in the nomination "Construction and Production of Building Materials".

The Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, Deputy Chairman of Grodno Region Executive Committee Vitaly Nevera, Deputy Chairman of Grodno City Executive Committee Andrei Boltrik and heads of the enterprise being the laureates of the contest attended the award ceremony.

Vladimir Ulakhovich noted that export is of particular importance for Belarus. And each enterprise being a laureate of the "Best Exporter of the Year" makes a significant contribution to the country's economy, its sustainable development and the welfare of citizens. The Chairman of the BelCCI noted: "It is important for exporters not to be at a stop, develop production facilities, improve the quality of products and services and overcome existing barriers in order to be successful and gain the upper hand in the modern competition. And this annual contest is a particular stimulus for the development for our companies, which improve the image of Belarus all over the world due to their daily work. Therefore, it is very important for the BelCCI to note the successes of our companies, thank the staff members that are not afraid of difficulties and barriers, but promote their products and work with foreign partners."

The Deputy Chairman of Grodno Region Executive Committee Vitaly Nevera noted that the economy of the Grodno Region is open, in line with the entire country. The region's enterprises are targeted at foreign markets. He said: "Of course, last year was not easy. But at the same time, the region's companies managed to increase export deliveries, trade activities were carried out with 123 world countries. Thus, it may be said that the restrictions have opened new opportunities for our companies". He also emphasized that "the importance of the contest is about thanking and acknowledging the enterprises that are not waiting for better times, but operating, producing quality products, entering new markets, glorifying their region and country and making a significant contribution to the economic stability of the country".
