Free sale certificate
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the authorised organisation for issuing certificates of origin of goods in the Republic of Belarus
Scope of application
Certificate validity period
Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) – issued for goods specified in the contract (appendix, specification to the contract).- Confirms that the product was manufactured in the Republic of Belarus and has no restrictions for distribution within the country or for export.
- Issued upon application based on information and documents submitted by the exporter. It may be issued taking into account the specific requirements of the importing country for the certificate and its contents.
Certificate of Free Sale is a document required for the import of Belarusian-made goods into a foreign country, confirming that the exporter has the documents required for the goods specified in the certificate, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, for the circulation of said goods within the territory of the Republic of Belarus and/or for export.
Certificate of Free Sale is a mandatory requirement for importing certain groups of goods (fertilisers, medicines, medical devices, perfumes and cosmetics, food products, and some others) into countries in Southeast Asia and Latin America.
Certificate of Free Sale is issued based on a verification of the exporter's possession of permits established by the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus in relation to the products declared for certification.
The registration and issuance of Certificates of Free Sale, as well as consultations on the issuance of certificates, are carried out by Regional Unitary Enterprises of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
