BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich takes part in Belarusian-Asian Forum in Moscow

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich took part in the Belarusian-Asian Forum which took place in the Business and Cultural Complex of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation.

The Forum sought to showcase Belarus' export potential, establish business contacts, and exchange views on the state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Asian countries.

Participating in the forum were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Mikalai Barysevich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation Vladimir Semashko, Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Kharitonchik, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Alexei Bogdanov, Representative of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Kuleshov, Asian diplomats working in the embassies accredited in Russia and concurrently in Belarus (ambassadors, chiefs of diplomatic missions, and other diplomats of Indonesia, Yemen, Cambodia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, Afghanistan, Laos, and the Philippines).

Representatives of Asian countries were told about possible forms of cooperation with Belarusian industrial enterprises, export financing of joint projects, Belarus' capacities in agriculture. Negotiations on specific bilateral cooperation projects were held.  

The BelCCI Chairman Vladimir Ulakhovich delivered a presentation of the work of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in enhancing cooperation with partners on the Asian market, the events held and projects implemented with this region.
