Belarus-Algeria online meeting

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a Belarus-Algeria online meeting.

The event was attended by Chairman of the BelCCI Mikhael Miatlikov, President of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kamel Khameni, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt and to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Sergei Terentyev, representatives of the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise of the BelCCI.

The meeting focused on the state and prospects of bilateral trade and economic relations. Special attention was paid to the issues of intensifying contacts between representatives of the business community of the two countries.

The heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Belarus and Algeria expressed the willingness of their organizations to continue constructive interaction to strengthen mutually beneficial business ties between the business communities.

On behalf of the BelCCI Mikhael Miatlikov invited the Algerian side to pay a business visit to Belarus, take part in the exhibition events held in Belarus, as well as organize a separate country exhibition of Algerian goods and services in Minsk.

The parties agreed to work out the possibility of setting up the Belarusian-Algerian Business Council and exchange information on the economic potential of the two countries.
