Results of the business course "Export: peculiarities of work in modern conditions" within the framework of the BelCCI Export Academy project

The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich summed up the results of the business course "Export: Peculiarities of Work in the Current Conditions" in the framework of the BelCCI Export Academy project via videoconference. The Export Academy is a unique format for training representatives of enterprises and organizations focused on working in foreign markets, the opportunity to gain applied knowledge about export strategies, marketing policy, effective sales management, foreign trade contracts, participation in exhibitions, intellectual property protection, calculations for export deliveries, logistics, preparation of presentations and negotiations with foreign partners.

In 2021, the BelCCI prepared a new business course program - "Export: Peculiarities of Work in the Current Conditions", twelve modules of which were formed taking into account the need to train representatives of exporting enterprises to work in conditions dictated by the challenges of the time. Thematic modules were developed based on the relevance of additional knowledge on legal and tax regulation, financial resources management, transport and customs support of foreign supplies, marketing activities and other aspects of the export process. Special attention was paid to the development of new export niches, the introduction of modern mechanisms and formats of work, the expansion of sales markets in the current realities. A separate module was devoted to the development of foreign economic relations in the EAEU space. The business course was held in a hybrid format: students had the opportunity to attend classes in person in the classroom, as well as online training.

As part of the business course, 243 representatives of 132 Belarusian enterprises of all forms of ownership received practical knowledge on legal and tax regulation of export activities, financial resource management, customs support and logistics, marketing activities and other aspects of the export process.
