
The Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vladimir Ulakhovich through videoconference took part in the Board meeting and the annual assembly of the Initiative "Common Economic Space from Lisbon to Vladivostok" ("Lisbon – Vladivostok").
The Board members summed up the results of work in 2021, discussed plans and tasks for 2022, identified the main directions for further development of the Initiative and the activities of six specialized task forces.
Addressing the participants of the meeting, Vladimir Ulakhovich noted that currently the work of the Initiative should be aimed at supporting the business community, providing real practical assistance to EU and EAEU enterprises to overcome existing barriers and obstacles in mutual trade, creating favorable conditions for cooperation strengthening.
The Board meeting was followed by the annual assembly of the Initiative, with the online and offline participation of more than 100 managers and representatives of the Initiative member companies and business associations. Ulf Schneider, Chairman of the Board and SCHNEIDER GROUP President, presented the results of the Initiative's activities and strategic objectives for the coming period.
At the end of the meeting, four organizations, including the office of the representative of the BelCCI in Spain, David Figueras, signed the memorandum on joining the Initiative.
