The BelCCI has been defined as the authorized organization of Belarus to cooperate with the EEC to form and supervise the Eurasian register of industrial goods of the EAEU member states

The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been defined as the authorized organization of Belarus to cooperate with the Eurasian Economic Commission to form and supervise the Eurasian register of industrial goods of the EAEU member states in compliance with the rules of determining the country of origin of certain goods for state (municipal) procurement. The decision is stipulated in Council of Ministers' Resolution No.180 of 29 March 2021, which was officially published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 31 March.

Under the Resolution, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BelCCI unitary enterprises, their representative offices and branches will carry out the expertise of the conditions, production and technological operations in the production of goods in Belarus, in the performance of which the goods are considered to originate from Belarus. The procedure of such expertise will be defined by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in coordination with the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade. According to the results of the expertise, the corresponding act will be issued. Subsequent verification of its validity and (or) the reliability of the information contained in the act will be carried out by the State Committee for Standardization, which has been appointed a verifying body, which carries out subsequent verification of the information contained in the acts of examination.

Government's Resolution No.178 of 29 March 2021 was also officially published on 31 March. The document approves the regulations on the procedure of issuing conclusions on the recognition of industrial goods jointly produced by the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, the recognition of the co-producer.

The regulations apply to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs registered in Belarus.

Meanwhile, the assessment of the fulfillment by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs of the requirements for the recognition of their industrial goods jointly produced by the member states of the EAEU and the issuance of the corresponding certificates are carried out by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its unitary enterprises.

This document shall enter into force three months after its official publication.
