Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhael Miatlikov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus Timur Zhaksylykov.
During the meeting, Mikhael Miatlikov presented in detail the activities of the BelCCI as the largest business union of the country to support export-oriented enterprises, including the organization of foreign economic events –visits, business forums, participation in exhibitions, including international exhibition projects in Kazakhstan (in Almaty and Astana), as well as talked about the interaction with foreign partners and the work of business councils.
In turn, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary noted a number of possible areas of joint work with the BelCCI aimed at promoting contacts between Belarusian and Kazakhstani businesses and intensifying interaction between the business communities of the two countries.
The parties discussed the prospects of deepening cooperation in organizing bilateral business events, including within the framework of the Business Council under the BelCCI and the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan and at the regional level, the possibility of exchanging visits of delegations to participate in various foreign economic events, getting acquainted with the economic potential of the two countries, holding a meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan with representatives of Belarusian companies and organizations.
The Chairman of the BelCCI invited the business community of Kazakhstan to participate in exhibitions in Belarus, as well as to consider the possibility of holding a national exposition.
